Members of our choir, together with friends will lead us in a service of old and new music, familiar and not so familiar Christmas music as we prepare light the first two candles for Advent.

Belmont School Carol Service 1-30
Join the children and families of Belmont Schools as they tell the Christmas story and lead us in their annual Carol Service
Wednesday 17th December 6-30
A Christingle Service
welcoming the Peace Light from Bethlehem
This is a particularly moving service that will be led this year by our Brownies when we meet at 6-00 to make Christingles and then share in readings and carols for Christmas.
we put all the lights out in church and then welcome a lantern with a flame that was originally lit in the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem at the beginning of Advent by Scouts and Guides in Bethlehem. A lantern then makes its way to Austria and from there lanterns are lit from the original flame and are taken all over Europe and all over the world. We welcome the Peace Light to Bethlehem during this service , and join in prayers for peace in our troubled world.
We have links with a Scout and Guide group in Bethlehem and it is good to stand with them in the troubled times they are experiencing and pray for peace.
Thursday 18th December 6-00
Join with friends from other churches in Cheltenham to form a Flash Mob and sing Silent Night - with an additional verse written for this Christmas, the centenary of the legendary Christmas Truce
Saturday 20th December 10-00 at Sainsbury's Oakley
we'll be carol singing for Christian Aid - one hour of non-stop carols!
Sunday 21st December 6-30
The Big Sing!
Come and join in mince pies as we sing as many favourite carols as we can in the space of an hour!
